Grand Isle is a hidden gem in the very deep south. We have a delicious array of fresh seafood, including an abundance of shrimp, fish, and crabs, as well as crawfish during the peak season of early spring until mid-summer. Our gulf fishing is highly sought-after and is considered by many a rewarding experience. The beaches here are clean and the water tends to run warm. The island is a bird sanctuary; it attracts locals and individuals from all over the world who are interested in birding, migratory birds, and of course, the thousands of native birds, including the elusive and beautiful Roseate Spoonbill.
