Policies and Rules

We welcome everyone, but we do have a few policies regarding reservations and hotel rules.


  • Check-in: 3:00 pm
  • Check-out: 11:00 am



  • We are a non-smoking establishment. Blue Dolphin Inn & Cottages prohibits indoor smoking, but receptacles are provided for those who wish to smoke outdoors.
  • Blue Dolphin allows pets in the Cottages, with prior approval and a $50 fee. The fee covers flea treatment after any pet visit. No pets allowed at the Inn.



  • Blue Dolphin Inn & Cottages’ policy holds that if cancellation is necessary, it must be done at least two weeks before reservation date to receive a refund.
  • Blue Dolphin Inn & Cottages will hold your payment and apply it to a future stay if cancellation occurs within two weeks, but at least 24 hours before the reservation date.
  • If cancellation is within 24 hours, the deposit will be forfeited.



  • Quiet hours are between 11 p.m. – 8 a.m. out of respect for guests who came here to rest.
  • Please be considerate and keep the noise level down so that other guests are not disturbed.
  • No smoking in the rooms.
  • Please clean the dishware that you use.
  • Blue Dolphin does not allow pets at the Inn, but your four-legged friend is welcomed at the cottages.
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult in the units and outside.
  • Blue Dolphin Inn & Cottages requires that all coolers with seafood must be left outside. Please do not bring them into the rooms. Blue Dolphin Inn & Cottages ask that guests clean all fish/seafood and outdoor cooking utensils outside in the facilities provided under the Inn. Debris from both cleaning and eating MUST be placed in double plastic bags and put in the dumpster by the street. If no plastic bags are available, please call the office at 985-787-3697 so we can replenish them. We want it to be nice, clean, and odor free for everyone!
  • Leave all furniture where you find it.
  • Take trash to the outside dumpster next to the street.
  • Take care of your valuables. We are not responsible for any loss or damage.
