At Blue Dolphin Inn & Cottages, we welcome everyone, but we do have a few policies regarding reservations and hotel rules.

What time is Check in and Check out?

We are a non-smoking establishment. Blue Dolphin Inn & Cottages prohibits indoor smoking, but receptacles are provided for those who wish to smoke outdoors.

Pets are allowed in the Cottages, Camper, and Office Apartment only, with prior approval and a $100 fee. The fee covers flea treatment after any pet visit. No pets are allowed at the inn.

Blue Dolphin Inn & Cottages’ policy holds that if cancellation is necessary, it must be done at least two weeks before the reservation date to receive a refund.
Blue Dolphin Inn & Cottages will hold your payment and apply it to a future stay if cancellation occurs within two weeks, but at least 48 hours before the reservation date.
If cancellation is within 48 hours, the deposit will be forfeited.

The island is approximately 1½ to 2 hours south of New Orleans, Louisiana (depending on traffic and starting point).

Quiet hours are between 11 p.m. – 8 a.m. out of respect for guests who came here to rest.
Please be considerate and keep the noise level down so that other guests are not disturbed.
No smoking in the rooms.
Please clean the dishware that you use.
For a $100 fee, pet friendly lodging is available only in the cottages and the camper. Pets are not allowed in the inn. Pets must be crated if left indoors unattendeden must be supervised by an adult at all times for safety.
Unregistered/extra guests aren't permitted without management acknowledgement.
Blue Dolphin Inn & Cottages requires that all coolers with seafood must be left outside. Please do not bring them into the rooms. Blue Dolphin Inn & Cottages ask that guests clean all fish/seafood and outdoor cooking utensils outside in the facilities provided under the Inn. Debris from both cleaning and eating MUST be placed in double plastic bags and put in the dumpster by the street. If no plastic bags are available, please call the office at 504-559-6888 so we can replenish them. We want it to be nice, clean, and odor free for everyone!
Please respect the property and its contents.
Leave all furniture where you find it.
Take trash to the outside dumpster next to the street.
Take care of your valuables. We are not responsible for any loss or damage.
