Whether you're calling ahead to arrange early check-in or just mapping your route down Louisiana Highway 1, we're here to help make your arrival smooth and easy.

Check-in at the office first
Check in at the office at 2583 Hwy 1. It's best to call the on-site manager at 504-559-6888 in advance, so we are prepared for your arrival.
Driving Directions
- Grand Isle is a barrier island reachable only via roadway by one main route: Louisiana Highway 1 (LA 1) from the mainland.
- The toll bridge section of LA 1 has cashless tolling. You’ll need a GeauxPass account (or the system will photograph your plate and bill the registered owner). WDSU+1

- The island is approximately 1½ to 2 hours south of New Orleans, Louisiana (depending on traffic and starting point).
Tip: Leave enough time for the drive; it's a bit remote, and the road is narrow in places. Also fill up with fuel and pick up any supplies before you cross onto the island.
